Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage Therapy
Ashiatsu is an ancient art & therapeutic practice of barefoot massage. It is performed on a massage table with overhead parallel bars to ensure stability & precision. The gliding strokes of Ashiatsu offer the experience of incredibly consistent pressure and an incomparable sensation of flow. Gentle relaxation or deep tissue techniques can be used. Working with gravity, the therapist is able to use the broad, rounded surfaces of their feet to administer greater pressure without causing the tissue damage & consequent pain that clients often report after a deep tissue massage using elbows or fingers. Ashiatsu is covered through massage insurance benefits.
Myofascial Cupping Therapy
One of the most amazing aspects of this technique is the “separation” that the cupping vacuum produces in tissue layers. This enables water absorption and renewed blood flow to undernourished and dehydrated tissue as well as the elimination of old waste and congestion. Along with the substantial health benefits of clearing old debris, the use of suction is invaluable in releasing soft tissue, scars and restricted fascia. Sports professionals are benefitting from the ease of recovery from injury or surgery and an increase in athletic performance, and major league sports teams are utilizing the therapy.
Swedish Massage Therapy
Swedish Massage Therapy incorporates long, gliding, fluid strokes & kneading techniques to the layers of soft tissue. Swedish massage is soothing to the mind & body, emphasizing relaxation. A Swedish Massage can still be therapeutic with the use of moderate pressure Trigger Point Therapy & Myofascial Release. This relaxing treatment will be tailored to you and will help improve circulation, improve lymphatic drainage, reduce muscle tension and fascial restrictions.

From relaxation to chronic pain, a therapeutic massage can enhance your overall emotional and physical well-being.
